Brisbane’s 1982 Commonwealth Games bid commences, 1974. The caption to this McCrae cartoon read, ‘“And another thing, Brisbane is noted for its aquatic activities!”’.

Advertisement by developers Hooker Centenary, 1974. As developers came under fire in the media their offices in new housing estates such as Jindalee were inundated.
