The sugar industry is so widespread in the Queensland landscape that it is linked by its own rail system. This locomotive, known as Flash, worked the Proserpine Sugar Mill from 1947 to 1964, and later at Fairymead Sugar Mill and the Qunaba Mill until 1980.
