West End tram terminus, 1965. This image is of the West End tram terminus which linked with the ferry stop. The West End tram ran through the city and to New Farm Park, a route that is still taken by buses. This image appeared in the Wilbur Smith transportation study of Brisbane which recommended, and ultimately led to, the removal of trams from Brisbane.
