Thurulgoona Bore No 7, south-west Queensland, c1910, photograph taken during hydraulic survey of western Queensland. According to the Squatting Investment Company ledgers, the bore was drilled in 1891 and yielded 50,000 gallons per day. In 1910, it is reduced to a trickle.
