Standard two bedroom maternity ward, 1929. Built throughout regional Queensland, these architectural plans show the standard design for two bedroom maternity wards. The mother’s rooms were 10 feet square and opened out onto a wide veranda. The labour and sterilizing rooms were down a short hallway. Collection of the Queensland State Archives
