Recently released Sikh prisoners of war, Brisbane 1944

Recently released Indian Sikh soldiers, ex-prisoners of war, watching the Australian 7th Division parade in Brisbane in August 1944. Liberated Indian Army personnel were initially issued with Australian uniforms, and given a special allowance of cloth for use as turbans.
